When Fashion Meets

First things first, for those who don’t know: When Fashion Meets is a monthly networking event held in various Toronto locations. Run by Toronto Fashion Industry, this platform allows all members of the fashion world (models, artists, buyers you name it) to talk shop, expand their horizons and launch new products and services. 

We love these events and would like to thank all the beautiful people that make this possible. Without opportunities like this, Toronto’s fashion scene would not continue to grow. Looking to mingle, make new friends and scout out new business opportunities? Then you must join us at their next event! 

The designers featured at this event were Aristocracia, a native Argentinean footwear designer. With only 30 pieces made for each design we loved the exclusivity. The second designer was Moxrano with their shawl and scarf collections. The pieces had earthy colours, fun sayings and prints. 

The venue was a perfect choice. Lobby Bar at Thompson Toronto, located in Toronto King West village is a contemporary boutique hotel. The space appropriately represents the Toronto fashion culture. The lobby bar was decorated beautifully for the holidays. White abstract trees and fairy lights lit up the already chic space. 

Between shows, guests were invited to mingle and talk fashion. The show was a delight to be apart of with live music, energetic models and great fashion. 

What we loved? 

We enjoyed meeting great talented local designers like Narishdath Maraj. We look forward to connecting with him in the future to share his talent with you. Great opportunities like this, makes us excited for fashion in our city.
